We are different.  Since 1957 we have been a breakfast club meeting in Mission Valley in a professional setting.  Nameplates, linen table setting, a full breakfast served during the meeting, five Speakers, Mentors, New Member Manuals and much, much more.  One visit and you will understand what sets us apart.

Professional Attitude  Everybody knows that every Tuesday morning we have to allow time for 27-30 members to express themselves in one way or another. Whether they are featured Speakers, Evaluators, or they participate in “Table Topics” – there is a lot of work to get done.

Performance  Most of the members come prepared, whether they are the Toastmaster-of-the-Day, Table Topics Master or a Speaker. This unwritten standard is a silent motivator that tends to get strong participation and a serious effort out of most.

Sense of Purpose
• To sharpen speaking skills.
• To meet with old friends and make new ones who enjoy a common interest.
• To be a part of something that is bigger than ourselves with an honorable purpose.

Sense of Humor  We don’t take ourselves too seriously and when we do the group has a way of equalizing the equation.

Sincerity  Most Members are very sincere, are generous with their praise and always strive to offer a critique in a professional, constructive and non-threatening manner.

Sense of Commitment  On Tuesday mornings if one person can’t make it, there is always someone who is willing to jump in and take over a responsibility when the need arises. It’s hard to say no in an environment that fosters teamwork.

Individuality  While it is clear we all pull our weight as a team, there is still room for individuality. There are curmudgeons, comedians, Democrats and Republicans.  Irreverence prevails. Indignation can occur. And true compassion for a good story can win the hearts of anyone on any given day.

Efficient  TM 624’s meetings reflect the attitude of its Members. We are there to learn, to get the job done and that’s what we do – time after time. Everyone does their part.

Effective  Efficiency is making things work. Effectiveness is making the right things work. We know how to do both. Our new Members don’t have to look too far for help.  Just ask.

Fun  We arrive consistently at the destination, yet we always seem to have a lot of fun on the journey along the way. Our club is the best way to “kick start your day” starting at 7:00 a.m. every Tuesday. It is the fastest, most educational and entertaining 90 minutes in town!

Trust  Club members of all ages have so much confidence in their fellow members that they are ready and willing to share their most personal feelings and vulnerability with the group without the fear of being taken advantage of.  There is an implicit sense that you can say almost anything and it will safely remain within your “Tuesday Morning Family”
